WHAT'S TRENDING

Texas Transgender Crisis. Millennials & GenZ Regret LGBT Lifestyle, Glad for Victory; While Many SDA Affirm LGBT.

There is an ongoing controversy in Texas involving a 7 year old boy. “Hundreds of thousands demand Texas leaders step in to prevent gender ‘transition’ of 7-yr-old boy.” “As the country watches in horror a Texas father’s legal battle to prevent his ex-wife from ‘transitioning’ their seven-year-old son into a faux girl, a growing chorus of Americans is demanding state and federal leaders intervene to save James Younger. On Monday, a Dallas jury ruled 11-1 against father Jeffrey Younger in his fight against his ex-wife, Dr. Anna Georgulas, who wants to subject young James to puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones as well as legally force his father to treat him as a girl. Mr. Younger contends that all of this is being pursued against his son’s will.”1 Since the jury’s ruling, “A Texas judge ruled Thursday in favor of a father seeking to restore joint custody of his son to prevent his ex-wife from going ahead with treatment to ‘transition’ the 7-year-old boy to a girl.”2

With this in mind, consider the fact that hundreds of young people who have had gender reassignment surgery now regret it. This headline from Daily Mail says it all: “Hundreds of transgender youths who had gender reassignment surgery wish they hadn't and want to transition back, says trans rights champion.”3 Sadly, professed Christians, even among Seventh-day Adventists, are affirming and welcoming of the LGBT lifestyle in their schools, from the elementary level to the university. Note this most recent example, “The Florida Conference Office of Education recently issued a non-discriminatory Statement to all education faculty, and placed the statement in the footer of every page in their website.  This statement was voted by the Florida Conference Executive Committee… ‘Florida Conference Seventh-day Adventist schools welcome students of any race, color ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation, and promote a sharp focus on learning and caring while requiring all students to adhere to behavioral expectations set out in a strict code of conduct supported by the Biblical beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our schools do not discriminate on the basis of any of the aforementioned categories in decisions for admission, discipline, or application of education policies.’”4

Texas Transgender Crisis. Millennials & Gen Z Regret LGBT Lifestyle, Glad for Victory, while many SDA Affirm LGBT. Bible must become a New Book to Us. Bible became a New Book to the Disciples, Protestant Reformers, Millerites & SDA Pioneers.

Seventh-day Adventists above all others,  should be teaching victory over sin, not succumbing to sin, welcoming and affirming it. The reality is that while many of God’s professed people are making excuses and concessions for the LGBT lifestyle, there are people who are receiving victory, sharing their victory and celebrating it. From the Christian Post, “Millennials boldly preach freedom from LGBT lives at Orlando march 3 years after Pulse mass shooting.”

This indicates God’s power to deliver people from the sinful LGBT lifestyle and that God has the power to deliver from any and every sin. “Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57. “Christ has given His Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress His own character upon His church.”5
