WHAT'S TRENDING

Kenneth Copeland, Lou Engle, “Protestants” Unite With Pope for "Healing Prayers"

September 17, 2019

As we approach closer to the second coming of Jesus, God has been sending warning messages to awaken His people. The sad reality is that many of those who hear of and see the rapid fulfillment of Bible Prophecy will remain asleep, dead in trespasses and sins. If the love and mercy of God has done nothing to soften the hearts of sinners leading them to repentance, there is but little hope that the messages of end-time Bible prophecies will either. Nevertheless, the final warning message must be given to the whole world as a witness unto all nations so that none will have occasion to say that they never knew or had the opportunity to know.

Revelation 13:3 foretells of a time when the deadly wound inflicted to the Papacy would be healed and all the world would wonder after the beast. The beast of

Revelation 13:1-10 unmistakably identifies Roman Catholicism as the leopard-like beast. The Papacy received its deadly wound after reigning 1260 years as prophecy foretold, in the year 1798, when she could no longer control the state, thus bringing the temporal sovereignty of the Pope to an end. However, since that time Satan and the primary religious entity that he is working through, Popery, have not been idle and have been gradually working to heal the wound and regain the power it once wielded. We can say assuredly that the work of healing the wound is no longer gradual but is happening rapidly as Protestants (apostate of course) have united with Popery and as church and state are uniting to enforce religious decrees.

Because God wishes none to be in darkness, He allows the chief actors on the side of darkness to make statements that reveal Satan’s agenda using prophetic words. Charisma News posted an article under this ironic headline, “Join Kenneth Copeland and Lou Engle in These Healing Prayers for the Body." In the article we read the following: “Today there are many denominations and doctrines which create a great diversity within the body of Christ. Yet, we can still be united in Christ. Lutheran theologian Oscar Cullmann said, ‘Unity in the church ... is unity in diversity ... recognizing others in all their variety as true Christians.’” The primary champion for unity is then quoted: “Pope Francis has said, ‘Unity brought by the Spirit can harmonize every diversity.' Unity in diversity recognizes the contributions of other streams of Christianity and blends them together in a symphony of harmony. It is a unity of the Spirit, not in doctrine or church government.”[1] The language used is highly significant, yea prophetic.  Pope Francis, Kenneth Copeland and Lou Engle are calling for unity in the “spirit” but not in doctrine.  This is spiritualism, the union spoken of in Revelation 16:13 and 14: “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” The Bible makes it clear in John 4:23 and 24 that “the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

“The wide diversity of belief in the Protestant churches is regarded by many as decisive proof that no effort to secure a forced uniformity can ever be made. But there has been for years, in churches of the Protestant faith, a strong and growing sentiment in favor of a union based upon common points of doctrine. To secure such a union, the discussion of subjects upon which all were not agreed--however important they might be from a Bible standpoint--must necessarily be waived.”[2]  This has been fulfilled! Such a union results in the formation of the image of the beast, the speaking of the image as a dragon, the enforcement of the Mark of the Beast and the inevitable persecution of those who do not adhere to this false system of worship. “When the leading churches of the United States, uniting upon such points of doctrine as are held by them in common, shall influence the state to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, then Protestant America will have formed an image of the Roman hierarchy, and the infliction of civil penalties upon dissenters will inevitably result.”[3]

It is clear that the apostate Protestants are healing the wound of the Papacy; the next step is for the unified ecumenical church to control the state, which to a certain extent, she is already doing.  Continuing in the article, “During the second 10 days of Teshuvah, from Sept. 9 to Sept. 18, we will be praying for God's people and the healing of the broken body of Christ as God's people come together, united in Christ…The unity revival has already begun. In 2014, the pope sent a historic video to Kenneth Copeland, which you can view on the UnitedinChristInternational.com

website. The pope's outreach to Kenneth Copeland produced a flood of Christian leaders who traveled to Rome for international reconciliation meetings. There has also been a strong movement for unity among American church leaders.”[4]

Please consider the following statement, “Through the two great errors, the immortality of the soul and Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people under his deceptions. While the former lays the foundation of spiritualism, the latter creates a bond of sympathy with Rome. The Protestants of the United States will be foremost in stretching their hands across the gulf to grasp the hand of spiritualism; they will reach over the abyss to clasp hands with the Roman power; and under the influence of this threefold union, this country will follow in the steps of Rome in trampling on the rights of conscience.”[5] Truly, we have reached that time in which the world has been united in spiritualism. Under this threefold union, we can expect every principle of the United States’ Constitution to be repudiated and a Sunday Law enacted.

Let us read on in the Charisma article: “The urgent need to heal the body of Christ must be communicated from the national leadership of movements and denominations to the local churches… The prayer of Jesus in John 17 is not only about unity. It is for unity with a purpose, "That the world may believe" (John 17:21b). Unity is the key to transformation. We invite you to join with Kenneth Copeland, Lou Engle and Christians of many traditions as we fellowship, worship, pray and work together to transform our communities at the Kairos 2019 conference to be held at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas on Oct. 3-5, 2019.”[6]

What more can be said but this, “God's word has given warning of the impending danger; let this be unheeded, and the Protestant world will learn what the purposes of Rome really are, only when it is too late to escape the snare. She is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. Whoever shall believe and obey the word of God will thereby incur reproach and persecution.”[7]
