It is no secret that Pope Francis is a Jesuit, the first Jesuit Pope, therefore as a recent headline puts it, “To Understand Pope Francis, You have to Understand the Jesuits.” However, this headline is not the first of its kind. In 2014 the National Catholic Reporter carried a piece called, “To Understand Pope Francis, Look to the Jesuits.” The 2017 headline comes from the Jesuit website Crux News, but it sounds more like a warning that a vigilant Protestant would give, considering the deadly practices and purposes of the Jesuit order since its very inception. In fact, the Bible admonishes us in 2 Corinthians 2:11, “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices;” therefore we need to be aware of Satan’s manner of working from ages past until the present as well as the agencies that he employs for the carrying out of his insidious and deadly agendas. “In the great final conflict, Satan will employ the same policy, manifest the same spirit, and work for the same end as in all preceding ages. That which has been, will be, except that the coming struggle will be marked with a terrible intensity such as the world has never witnessed. Satan's deceptions will be more subtle, his assaults more determined. If it were possible, he would lead astray the elect. Mark 13:22… In these records [history of the controversy] we may see a foreshadowing of the conflict before us. Regarding them in the light of God's word, and by the illumination of His Spirit, we may see unveiled the devices of the wicked one, and the dangers which they must shun who would be found ‘without fault’ before the Lord at His coming.”
The Papacy’s militia, the Jesuit Order, is a primary entity that Satan has used in the past, is using presently and will use in the final conflict in the great controversy. Its objectives are namely to overthrow the principles of Protestantism by climbing into various offices of state and influencing the policies of nations, to destroy those of the Protestant faith, and reestablish Papal supremacy by any means necessary. The Jesuit Order is a secret society deeply involved in occultist practices and slavishly committed to the Roman Catholic cause. In fact, the Jesuit Order was established to counter the Protestant Reformation. “Throughout Christendom, Protestantism was menaced by formidable foes. The first triumphs of the Reformation past, Rome summoned new forces, hoping to accomplish its destruction. At this time the order of the Jesuits was created, the most cruel, unscrupulous, and powerful of all the champions of popery. Cut off from earthly ties and human interests, dead to the claims of natural affection, reason and conscience wholly silenced, they knew no rule, no tie, but that of their order, and no duty but to extend its power...There was no crime too great for them to commit, no deception too base for them to practice, no disguise too difficult for them to assume…it was their studied aim to secure wealth and power, to be devoted to the overthrow of Protestantism, and the re-establishment of the papal supremacy… When appearing as members of their order, they wore a garb of sanctity…But under this blameless exterior the most criminal and deadly purposes were often concealed. It was a fundamental principle of the order that the end justifies the means. By this code, lying, theft, perjury, assassination, were not only pardonable but commendable, when they served the interests of the church. Under various disguises the Jesuits worked their way into offices of state, climbing up to be the counselors of kings, and shaping the policy of nations. They became servants to act as spies upon their masters. They established colleges for the sons of princes and nobles, and schools for the common people; and the children of Protestant parents were drawn into an observance of popish rites. All the outward pomp and display of the Romish worship was brought to bear to confuse the mind and dazzle and captivate the imagination, and thus the liberty for which the fathers had toiled and bled was betrayed by the sons. The Jesuits rapidly spread themselves over Europe, and wherever they went, there followed a revival of popery.”
We have come to a time in earth’s history, that the Jesuits have become so mainstream that they no longer have to operate covertly, they can openly declare and parade themselves about while assuming key positions in American government, and other governments who were at one time opposed to Popery, and can audaciously challenge individuals to go back to history and learn about her horrible record of past cruelties, and her ways of operating. A 2014 NewsWeek headline encapsulates this very thought, “With their first pope, Jesuits are making a comeback.” Consider that in 2016 a Jesuit, Thomas Reese, was appointed as the head of U.S. Religious Freedom Commission, the U.S. House of Representatives presently has a Jesuit Chaplain, among other leading (open) Jesuits, not excluding their covert operatives, in addition to the many highly acclaimed Jesuit institutions worldwide, with some of the most prestigious being in the United States. Either Jesuits believe that individuals are so consumed in the superficial that they will not take the time to educate themselves concerning this barbaric instrument of cruelty, or that if they do become educated, they will believe that Jesuits today cannot be judged by their past actions, that they have changed. The truth is that these characterizations do apply to most individuals. Many individuals, even professed Protestants will continue to go about life indifferently, not thinking or caring that their liberty of conscience is at stake due to this power, thus they will join the ranks of the ecumenical body, headed by Popery, whose composition is spiritualism (see The Great Controversy page 588) and become persecutors of those who refuse to join this union and continue to stand for their civil and religious liberties.
The Crux article brings to view that Pope Francis is extremely entrenched in Jesuit theology, thinking and practices. This should not be surprising as the Jesuits are very calculating in whatever they do; and Pope Francis was the person chosen to fulfill strategic, specific plans. “Francis ‘is completely steeped in Jesuit tradition and is a man completely of the exercises,’ Reedy said, explaining that one of the first things he tells people when he speaks about the pope is that ‘you can hear the spiritual exercises active in what he says.’ In listening to Francis ‘you can hear a Jesuit who has contemplated the life of Jesus,’ the priest said, noting that Francis’s pedagogical or didactic style ‘is very much patterned on Jesus’, who often gave very oblique and obscure answers to questions.’”
As mentioned in the above statement, “Pope Francis is completely steeped in Jesuit tradition;” it must be noted that a tradition of the Jesuits, is their initiation, their taking of an oath, an extreme oath of induction that Pope Francis had to commit himself to, a portion of which reads, “I furthermore promise and declare that I will, when opportunity present, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do, to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex or condition; and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics, rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants' heads against the walls, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race. That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poisoned cup, the strangulating cord, the steel of the poniard or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity, or authority of the person or persons, whatever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or Superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Faith, of the Society of Jesus…
In the attempt to cover their atrocious history or to erase from individuals’ minds what Jesuitism is all about, Jesuit scholars have created a diversion by telling individuals to look at the history of the Muslim faith, their creed and their holy writings to show that they are the real threats and Jesuits are to be treated as allies to fight against Muslims. They further assert that Muslims today should be judged by their history, yet the very accusations charged upon Muslims from Jesuits apply just as appropriately to themselves, although it is their aim to sanitize their own history. A Jesuit scholar “Father Boulad said that ‘Islam is an open-ended declaration of war against non-Muslims’ and those who carry out violent jihad are true Muslims who are applying exactly what their creed demands. Those who fail to recognize the real threat posed by Islam are naïve and ignorant of history…To back up his argument, Father Boulad enumerated a number of texts from the Koran that call on Muslims to employ violence in their conquest of the world for Allah. The many passages he cited included: ‘Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them’ (Koran 2:191), ‘Make war on the infidels living in your neighbourhood’ (Koran 9:123), ‘When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them’ (Koran 9:5), ‘Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam’ (Koran 5:33), ‘Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies’ (Koran 22:19), and ‘Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an’ Koran 8:12.’” The article continues, “Last year, Georgetown scholar Father James V. Schall contended that decades of students have been given a ‘sanitized education’ that systematically excludes an honest portrayal of the history and theology of Islam, which limits their ability to assess what is going on in the world. In his essay titled ‘Realism and Islam,’ Father Schall argued that Islam ‘is actually and potentially violent throughout its entire history’ and the basic reason for this method is religious in nature: ‘obedience to the Law of Allah.’ Therefore, he wrote, the Western tendency to simply call Muslim violence ‘terrorism’ is insulting to believing Muslims who ‘see themselves carrying out the will of Allah, even sometimes to their own death in doing so.’ Rather than terrorism, he insists, Muslims see their violence as ‘a religious endeavor to conquer the world,’ which they understand to be ‘an act of piety.’”
While Jesuits encourage the studying of Muslim history to assess Muslim thinking and behavior at the present, Jesuit history is history that should never be forgotten, because it will be repeated. It is impossible to overlook the striking similarities between what was shared concerning Muslims and the Jesuit oath as well its history. Indeed, by looking at the malicious barbarity of the Jesuits, we can understand the venomous, murderous designs of Pope Francis, no matter what pretense he assumes or the words he speaks.
