Mark Zuckerberg declares, “He’s No Longer An Atheist

January 4, 2017

With all the tumult, restlessness and tragedies taking place in the world, why is it newsworthy that Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg is no longer an atheist, some may be inquiring.  Though this information may be entertaining for some, it has prophetic implications that quite assuredly will have far-reaching results. This announcement came about after Zuckerberg posted a Christmas and Hanakkuh greeting to his Facebook page to which a user replied “‘Aren't you an atheist?' ‘No,’ wrote back Zuckerberg. ‘I was raised Jewish and then I went through a period where I questioned things, but now I believe religion is very important.’”[1]

When did Zuckerberg reach this epiphany?  Could it be after he had a private audience with Pope Francis in August of 2016 at the Vatican and presented him with a drone? Or perhaps it was before which prompted the meeting. Whatever the case may be, this is significant because Mr. Zuckerberg heads one of the biggest and most influential social media network sites and will use it to spread Pope Francis’ message.  Catholic News Service reports, “‘It is an honor to be with you today,’ Zuckerberg told the pope, adding that he hoped to help spread the pope's ‘message of mercy and tenderness…’” It continues, “Greg Burke, Vatican spokesman, said the pope and Zuckerberg spoke about ‘how communications technology can be used to alleviate poverty, encourage a culture of encounter and help deliver a message of hope, especially to the most disadvantaged people.’ Pope Francis presented Zuckerberg and his wife with a copy of ‘The Name of God is Mercy,’ a book-length interview he did with Italian journalist, Andrea Tornielli. In the book, he told them, ‘are my thoughts on tenderness and mercy.’ In a message posted on his personal Facebook page, Zuckerberg expressed his admiration for the pope and ‘how he's found new ways to communicate with people of every faith around the world.’”[2]

Mark Zuckerberg however is neither the first nor the last CEO of a major social networking site that Pope Francis has met and shared his vision with. He has met with the CEOs of Google, Apple and Instragram respectively, all in the year 2016.  Pope Francis has an agenda-- an agenda that Mark zuckerberg has pledged to carry out, namely “spreading the Pope’s message” using his influential platform.  What is the Pope’s message some may inquire; it is to become “Lord of the World,” which happens to be the title of the book that Pope Francis recommends individuals read, in which the Roman Catholic Church emerges as the only “savior” of a highly secularized and anarchist society on the precipice of ruin.  Pope Francis wants the church that he represents to regain its lost supremacy by influencing the civil governments, namely that of the United States, to enforce the church’s decrees and sustain her institutions, please read Revelation 13:11-18, and Ellen White’s The Great Controversy, the chapter entitled “God’s law Immutable,” to confirm.  Pope Francis realizes that he cannot attain world dominance without controlling-- not merely influencing popular opinion and interweaving his principles and policies into politics, which he has done through the issue of climate change, and popular culture which he is doing through social media.  It must be considered that since Pope Francis’ meetings with the various technology giants, there have been aggressive moves by the respective companies (others included as well) to censor what they deem “fake” news, hate speeches or individuals promoting hate or terrorism, bullying etc. Pope Francis wants to influence and control the output of information (through legal means) in accordance with his ideas and philosophies under the guise of caring for others feelings and stopping the spread of hate. This control of the media and information output is a violation of the First Amendment right to freedom of speech and the press. The targets of these initiatives are those who are faithfully preaching the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14, and presenting the prophecies of Revelation 13, 17, and 18; because Satan’s wrath is directed against this group (Revelation 12:12, 17). Such persons’ privileges and rights to use social media sites for the promulgation of the Everlasting Gospel will be restricted and their materials labeled as divisive, hate-rhetoric, extreme and terrorism. Though human means may fail, God will, through His messengers, carry the final message of warning and mercy using supernatural means, to such an extent that the whole earth will be lightened with the glory of the Lord, and many who were formerly influenced by Babylon and her daughters (Roman Catholicism, and apostate Protestantism) will be unshackled from the fetters that had long held them bound, and they will join the glorious movement that will usher in the Second Coming of the Lord.
