SDA Leaders Ask & Receive Permission To Print Satanic, Pro-LGBT NIV ‘Study Bible’

From 2016 to the present, Roman Catholics and Evangelicals (professed Protestants) have jointly declared that the protest is over, and have declared the same through the signing of a declaration. It is no surprise then that the Protestant Bible, has become obsolete and therefore nonexistent among these congregations and now ecumenical Bibles have supplanted them. In actuality, these modern translations, not even worthy of the designation of Bibles, have been in circulation for some time, and the loathsome fruits are apparent—false doctrines, damnable heresies, exaltation of sin while simultaneously demoting God’s Ten Commandments and a spiritually degenerate experience bereft of genuine sanctification and power. Perhaps you may not know which Bible is the Protestant Bible. It is indisputable that the King James Version is the Protestant Bible, and the other modern translations are ecumenical “Bibles,” promulgating an agenda opposite of Christianity. Satan is exulting that he has deceived so many into thinking that they are growing higher in their experience with Christ through these modern/contemporary versions, which should rightfully be called perversions, while he is entangling them deeper in deception and sin.

Seventh-day Adventists have long had a reputation for being “people of the book,” meaning that they knew their Bibles and lived by every precept contained therein. At least according to the historical doctrines that the Seventh-day Adventist movement were founded upon, individuals have held Seventh-day Adventists in high regard for their Biblical stance on a myriad of topics and their firm adherence to the Ten Commandments. Sadly, this cannot be truthfully said of Seventh-day Adventists as a whole today. One of the reasons for this, among many others, is their promoting and peddling of ecumenical, faulty, occult Bible versions, while pawning them off as “study Bibles.” Of every other Protestant group, Seventh-day Adventists should be the group upholding the Protestant Bible that houses their most peculiar doctrines that separate them from the churches of Babylon.  The unfortunate reality is that for a number of years Seventh-day Adventists have willingly bartered the King James, Protestant Bible for  modern Bible translations that silence the protest. In 2019, Seventh-day Adventist leaders are boasting about the printing and distributing of these modern so-called Bible versions, versions that even non-Seventh-day Adventist have spoken out about for their glaring omissions and insertions of occult philosophy, LGBT promotion and Papal exaltation. 

We wrote an article in July entitled “First The Great Hope, now the General Conference Publishes NKJV Hope Bible,”1 wherein we highlighted the dangers, blasphemies and deadly heresies contained in the NKJV, showing the various omissions, additions and editions to the text. Fast forward to the first week of September of 2019. The North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists proudly announced  the release of Andrews University’s new edition of its study Bible.  No, it is not the King James Version, it is the New International Version (NIV). The prior edition was not a King James Version either, it was the New King James Version (NKJV).

While both translations are abominable, the NIV is even more blatant with its promotion of sin and demotion of Christ, His law and righteousness. The words repeated in Ezekiel 8 are here applicable: “Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.”   

From the official North American Division website, read it and weep: “On Thursday, September 5, 2019, the Andrews University Press will release for sale the long-awaited New International Version (NIV) of the landmark Andrews Study Bible. In addition, nearly 700 new students at Andrews will receive a complimentary copy from the university, continuing a tradition that began in 2011, but now takes place for the first time with the NIV. According to an announcement by Andrea Luxton, president of Andrews University, the Adventist Church’s most comprehensive one-volume Bible study resource has just extended its reach in a big way. ‘We’ve been planning on this for many years,’ Luxton said. ‘The Andrews Study Bible was first published by Andrews University Press just before the General Conference of 2010 in the New King James Version (NKJV). It’s been a huge blessing to the church in its regular retail, evangelism, prison ministry and electronic formats, all in the NKJV. But we also knew right from the beginning that a large segment of the church finds value in a more contemporary English translation.’ The Andrews Study Bible was partially funded by a grant from the General Conference in 2008, as arranged by then Andrews president Niels-Erik Andreasen, according to Ronald Knott, director of Andrews University Press. Knott said that a formal project committee of GC leaders and Andrews administrators oversaw the project and delegated development to Jon Dybdahl, former president of Walla Walla University, who served as general editor. Dybdahl put together a team of more than a dozen scholars, approved by the project committee, who wrote the study notes and general articles. Since publication in 2010, nearly 150,000 copies of the NKJV Andrews Study Bible have been sold.”2

The article brought out that this NIV edition was “long-awaited” and that this so-called Bible was in planning for many years. What is equally appalling is that, according to Andrews’ President, “we also knew right from the beginning that a large segment of the church finds value in a more contemporary English translation.” How lamentable is it when Seventh-day Adventists are rejecting the Word of God and craving for that which is not bread.  “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water” Jeremiah 2:13. What’s more, in order to publish such books, the NIV and the NKJV, permission must be sought and obtained as they are copy written.  Can you imagine, God’s peculiar people, to whom have been entrusted the most fearful and solemn message, who have been cut out from the world (Babylon) by the mighty cleaver of truth, going to the men of Babylon to seek their polluted materials to be sold and distributed among their membership? What abysmal darkness!

Some may not be aware of the dangers of these modern translations, and have been using these versions unbeknownst to themselves. As we highlighted the evils found in the NKJV in the prior article referenced above regarding the “Hope Bible,” we will share why the NIV also needs to be dispensed with immediately. We would firstly ask our readers to refresh themselves with the following scriptures which tell us that we are neither to add nor detract from God’s Word, and that it is Satan that takes away the word and also misconstrues it to say something totally different than its obvious meaning: Genesis 3:1-5; Deuteronomy 4:2; Mark 4:15;  Matthew 4:5-7; Matthew 5:18 and Revelation 22:19.  From the inception of the great controversy, Satan has waged relentless war on God’s Word and thus was able to accomplish the fall of the human race, and he is still doing the same today with even greater intensity “because he knoweth that he hath but a short time” Revelation 12:12. He well knows that unlike the KJV, the use of modern translations make it impossible to use the method of Bible study that the Bible endorses, line upon line (Isaiah 28:9-12 and 1 Corinthians 2:13), allowing the Bible to be its own expositor.

If we were to point out every error found in the NIV, we would pretty much have to write a verse-by-verse commentary, that neither time nor space would allow. We will show enough however that the honest seeker for truth will be informed and so that those who know already can share the dangers of this so-called Bible with people they know who use them. Let us begin with the publishers, the very company that Seventh-day Adventist leaders asked permission of to print these versions. The NIV is published by Zondervan which is owned by Harper Collins.3 A fact that Seventh-day Adventists readily admit.  From Spectrum Magazine, “The New King James Version of the Bible for many years was controlled by the publisher Thomas Nelson, and the New International Version is controlled by The International Bible Society, which licenses the NIV in North America through Zondervan. Thomas Nelson and Zondervan are both owned by HarperCollins, which has licensed Andrews University to publish both translations for the Andrews Study Bible.”4 I wonder if Seventh-day Adventist leaders also are aware that Harper Collins also publishes a book called “The Joy of Gay Sex”5 as well as the Satanic Bible.6  Why would the publishers of a “Bible” also publish the very abominations that the Bible condemns? That should tell you something about the Satanic and LGBT agenda put forth in the New King James and New International (per)versions. 

With that information, it is no wonder that in Isaiah 14:12 in the NIV “Lucifer” is blasphemously replaced with “morning star,” a designation given only to Christ in Revelation 22:16. It puts Christ in the place of Lucifer and Lucifer in the place of Christ. Furthermore, all mention of Lucifer as the devil in the NIV has been removed. Not only is Lucifer uplifted as the morning star in the NIV, but Christ is demoted (as in the NKJV and other modern versions). Please compare the  following verses  in the NIV with the KJV and it will be abundantly clear that the NIV undermines Jesus as our Creator, as one who sinned and is not God or worthy to be worshipped: Micah 5:2; Matthew 8:2; Matthew 9:18; Matthew 15:25; Matthew 18:26; Matthew 20:20; Mark 5:6; Luke 2:33; Ephesians 3:9; Acts 3:13; Acts 3:26 ; Acts 4:27; Acts 4:30; Philippians 4:13; 1 Corinthians 15:47 and 1 Timothy 3:16. There are many more, but the examples given suffice. Additionally in the NIV, the title, “Son of God” is removed from Daniel 3:24 and 25, the only Old Testament scripture using that phrase. This is the scene where Jesus is seen in the midst of the fiery furnace with the three Hebrew worthies. In Revelation 1:13-15, Jesus is shown in the midst of the seven candlesticks (churches) with “his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace.” We would also encourage the reader to compare the Lord’s prayer in Luke 11:2-4 in the KJV and the NIV.  You will be astonished to find so many changes and omissions in just those three verses; but you will also see that those changes are intentional. 

As stated before, this is not an exhaustive study, but it need not be, considering that with even one deliberate change, the entire book would be rendered untrustworthy. However, that is not the case, there is a plethora of intentional changes and false doctrines that should horrify any conscientious Christian. We have shown how the NIV aligns with Satanism/Luciferianism which answers the publishers also publishing the Satanic Bible. We will now address how the NIV aligns with the homosexual agenda. “In late 2010, the Committee on Bible Translation released the newest edition of the NIV, the previous edition having been released in 1984.  Commonly known as the NIV 2011, the version garnered controversy in some circles for its translation decisions, including its increased use of gender-inclusive language. Denny Burk of the Commission on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood wrote in 2012 that while the 2011 version was an improvement over more gender-inclusive versions, ‘the NIV 2011 unnecessarily removes male-oriented terminology—especially the use of generic masculine forms of expression.’”7 By its own admission, the intent of this new edition of the NIV is to destroy gender distinction and roles by the use of gender-inclusive language, which promotes the LGBT agenda and lifestyle. Again, it is not coincidental, that this LGBT-affirming translation is published by the very publishers of “The Joy of Gay Sex.” Please see the following verses in the NIV and compare them with the KJV and you will notice how the terms ‘sodomites’ have been replaced: Deuteronomy 23:17, 1 Kings 15:12, 1 Kings 22:46, 2 Kings 23:7 and 1 Corinthians 6:9. Something else that should be noted on this point is that an open lesbian and feminist, Virginia Mollenkott, who authored the following books, ‘Is The Homosexual My Neighbor;’ ‘Omnigender: A Trans-Religious Approach,’ and ‘Divine Feminine,’ was on the original translation team for the NIV.”8

Satan is well adapted to deceive men and women of all stations. Not only does the NIV demote Jesus, promote Luciferianism and affirm homosexuality, it also advances Papal errors.  Interestingly, the Papacy is an amalgamation of all the aforementioned—the embodiment of the Anti-Christ.  Here are just a few examples. In Acts 8:37 we find the account of the Ethiopian Eunuch receiving the word and accepting Jesus as his Savior just before he was baptized. That scripture, which is a strong refutation against infant baptism considering that the Eunuch made a conscious decision to renounce his sins and follow Christ, something that infants cannot do, is omitted from the NIV. The NIV removes the warning against idolatry in 2 Samuel 5:21 and 1 Corinthians 10:28. Idol worship is a central tenet of Roman Catholicism. Luke 1:28 is omitted from the NIV which classes Mary with other women. Of course Roman Catholics deify, pray to and worship Mary, placing her even higher than Christ. John 1:42 in the NIV affirms the Catholic’s claim to apostolic succession from Peter while 1 Peter 1:18 omits the rebuke of exalting man’s tradition in the NIV. Roman Catholicism is built upon man’s tradition, placing it above the word of God. Of course, to conceal its identity, one of the very chapters that depict Roman Catholicism and her cruelties and martyrdom of God’s people is butchered. In Revelation 17:6, the word “martyrs” is removed.  1 Corinthians 7:1 in the NIV justifies priestly celibacy which gives rise to unspeakable sexual abuse among the clergy. The NIV in James 5:16 changes “faults” to “sins” which allows confession of sins to a priest. There are more Papal errors found in this gross translation but we will leave it here.

It is baffling that Seventh-day Adventists use and promote such a book calling itself a Bible. The King James Version Bible is the only Bible that has engaged in the battle against the apostasy of Romanism and has defeated it! All of the contemporary versions are a part of the New-Age emerging “Christianity,” that have abandoned the Protest. Even the versions considered to be the most “conservative” have not and is not identified with the battle against Rome, Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots and abominations of the earth, and the global apostasy of Protestantism.

Do you still need more evidences that this book, the NIV, is not a Bible but a book of satanic abominations? We find it most disturbing that the trusted leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination would undermine everything that the Seventh-day Adventist Movement stands for by promoting and publishing these modern translations. And how can they esteem such books, not Bibles, as tools for study and evangelism. The commentaries in these study Bibles are not coming from Ellen White, but rather so-called scholars that have largely studied under non-Seventh-day Adventists. Again, quoting from Spectrum Magazine, “‘Dr. Andreasen, and now Dr. Luxton, in their broadly influential roles for the world church, as presidents of the University, have a dream that no matter how small a member’s theological library may be, the Andrews Study Bible, in either the NKJV or the NIV, and the Andrews Bible Commentary, which is designed for either, can give that member the basics for understanding the message and mission of this movement,’ Knott said.  

‘Back in 2008, Dr. Andreasen said that the ultimate purpose of the Andrews Study Bible was to ‘produce a work that is academically credible, theologically sound and practically useful for the individual lay reader…’” Luxton said.  ‘That purpose has been lavishly fulfilled in the years since and will be even more so now with the new edition in the NIV.’”9 This mutilated (per)version of the scriptures called the NIV can never give members “the basics for understanding the message and mission of this movement” as Dr. Andreason asserts. Both the NKJV and the NIV destroy the beautiful truth of the heavenly sanctuary and the Investigative Judgement. As shown before, instead of exposing the wickedness of the man of sin, Roman Catholicism, the NIV espouses her errors among other falsities.

Not only is the study Bible being praised by SDA leaders to enhance one’s personal study, but it is also being exalted as an effective evangelistic tool. Here it is in black and white: “‘The Andrews Study Bible was first published by Andrews University Press just before the General Conference of 2010 in the New King James Version (NKJV). It’s been a huge blessing to the church in its regular retail, evangelism, prison ministry and electronic formats, all in the NKJV.”10 “‘Back in 2008, Dr. Andreasen said that the ultimate purpose of the Andrews Study Bible was to ‘produce a work…useful for for wide distribution in Adventist evangelism,’ Luxton said.”11 While these so-called Bibles may be widely distributed and circulated, the results will be counterproductive, steering the recipients further away from pure Seventh-day Adventist doctrine, which is [KJV] Bible doctrine, and into the arms of Rome, apostate Protestantism, and New-Ageism. May the words of Matthew 23:15 be heeded and ways amended: “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.”  

Now is the time when we should be studying the word of God like never before, using the right tools given to us through blood and tremendous sacrifice. As the children of God study His word and conform their lives to every precept, they begin to be sanctified (John 17:17) and perfected in Christ and readily able to discern Satan’s devices in whatever guise they come. The NIV minimizes victory over sin and perfection of character that Christ is calling us to (see 2 Timothy 4:17, Jude 1 and 2 Corinthians 13:11 in the NIV and compare with KJV)  and also minimizes the importance of studying God’s word (see Luke 4:4, 1 Timothy 4:15, 2 Timothy 2:15, Acts 20:28, Hebrews 4:12 in the NIV and compare with KJV). Those preparing for the Second Coming of Christ and striving to enter into the strait gate will arm themselves with the sword of the spirit which is the word of God, which is quick and powerful and has been tried, tested and faithful!
