Homemade Breakfast Sausage


Ingredients:

  • 3 cups water

  • 1/4 cup bragg's amino

  • 1/4 nutritional yeast/ hickory smoked dried torula yeast

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 2 tbsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp dried sage

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 1/2 garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne (optional)

  • 3 cups oats

  • 1 tsp paprika

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven 350. Coat baking sheet.

  2. Combine all ingredients except oats, in a sauce pan, bring to boil.

  3. Remove from heat add oats, stir well. Allow to stand for 5-8 mins.

  4. Scoop mixture into 2-inch round balls. Place on baking sheet and flatten with hand. Bake 15 mins. 

  5. Flip and bake for an additional 10 mins.
